The Bali Myna or Bali Starling is a beautiful but critically endangered bird only found in the wild on the island of Bali. The Begawan Foundation's Bali Starling Conservation Project is aiming to save this precious bird from the very real threat of extinction and they have made some great strides in this direction.

In any project such as this it is critical that the birds are all uniquely identified and Microchips Australia is supporting such a worthwhile project by supplying microchips and readers at greatly discounted rates.

The birds are anaesthetised and implanted with Trovan ID100(1.4) Midi-Chips and scanned using Trovan LID560 Pocket Readers.
