The Trovan® ID162 (1.4) VB ISO FDX-B ‘All-In-One’ Midi-Chip is designed for people who prefer to use a disposable “all-in-one” implanter/needle/transponder device to deliver the Trovan® ISO transponder. Like the conventional Trovan® ID162 product, the ‘All-In-One’ is ISO 11784/11785 compliant. While this makes it well suited for the identification of companion animals in Australia, the product can also be used for research animals, production animals and everything in between.
Its smaller size compared with conventional-sized transponders but excellent read performance, makes it ideal for use in cats, kittens, small breed dogs and puppies as well as small birds, reptiles and exotic animals. The Trovan® ISO ’All-In-One’ is individually packaged as a pre-sterilised, disposable single piece implanter product with 6 adhesive labels.
It has all of the same product qualities as all Trovan® transponder products but, because it is an "all-in-one" product, it does not require the use of a separate disposable implanter device.
Note: TROVAN microchips are sometimes referred to as transponders or PIT tags (Passive Integrated Transponders).
